In a significant stride towards modernizing education, government schools in Meerut are set to introduce smart classes in the upcoming 2025 academic session. New vocational courses will also start for all students.
Apart from these changes, some schools including Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School are being extended up to class 12. According to District Coordinator Bhuprendra, 20 new vocational courses like construction, tourism and hospitality, beauty and wellness, food processing, agriculture, automotive, plumbing, retail, security, physical education, power, baking financial services, insurance, electronics and others will commence from the next academic session. Subject experts will be appointed to run the vocational courses.
Computer labs will also be setup in 41 schools with each school getting 8 computers and an expert to teach it to the students. Smart classes will start in 32 schools.
Transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic learning environments equipped with digital tools such as smart boards, projectors, and internet connectivity is the way to go forward for all schools in India. These advancements facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences, enabling students to grasp complex concepts more effectively.
The implementation of smart classes is expected to bridge the educational divide between government and private institutions. This transformation reflects a broader commitment to educational reform.
