‘Together we are strong and mighty. No one can take that away from us.’
With this spirit, Mr. Rajat Chaudhary, founder of the I Dream Too Trust started the NGO with an attempt to help as many people with rare diseases as possible. Everyone is equal and has the right to equal opportunity to grow. People with rare diseases are some of the most overlooked part of the society who suffer in silence. But I Dream Too Trust has been helping these people day and night in Meerut.
The NGO is a team of people who themselves suffer from rare diseases like haemophilia (a rare bleeding disorder) and have been working constantly to create social awareness about the rights of people with rare diseases. Their aim is to bring the count of untreated blood disorders and undiagnosed patients of haemophilia and thalassemia to zero.
Founded in 2018, I Dream Too Trust has over 350 registered patients. They have a team of 16 people and 150+ volunteers who have conducted events like ‘Free Factor 8 Distribution for Hemophilia Patients at Bijnor), ‘3rd Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia Children at Meerut’ and ‘Hemophilia Awareness and Physiotherapy Camp at JN Medical College AMU, Aligarh’ amongst many others.
To do your but towards uplifting people with rare diseases, you can connect with the NGO and provide donations or even volunteer for the cause. I Dream Too Trust’s service towards people with thalassemia, psoriasis and haemophilia has been remarkable and may they continue to keep up the good work!
