Chitrangda Singh was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and soon after, her family shifted to Meerut. The actress has studied from Sophia Girls’ School in Meerut. This was the city where her father, Col. Niranjan Singh, an ex-Indian army officer was last posted.
Chitrangda Singh’s talent is not unknown to anyone. The actress made her debut in Bollywood in 2005 with the film, ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.’ She has appeared in notable movies like ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi,’ ‘Baazaar,’ ‘Gaslight,’ ‘I, Me Aur Main,’ ‘Gabbar Is Back,’ ‘Saheb, Biwi Air Gangster 3,’ ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Ghoomketu’ among others.
She has also been a part of web series like ‘Modern Live Mumbai’ and ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter.’ Next, the actress will be seen in movies like ‘Housefull 5’ and ‘Raat Akeli Hai 2.’
Talking about awards and recognitions, the actress won the Bollywood Movie Awards in the category Best Female Debut for the film, ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.’
