Meerut is preparing for one of the largest and most ambitious urban infrastructure projects in its history — the Atal Shatabdi Integrated Township. Developed by the Meerut Development Authority (MDA), this mega township project is set to redefine the city’s residential, commercial, and industrial landscape while strengthening Meerut’s position within the NCR region.

The township was officially launched after Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone for the ₹2,517 crore integrated township project, named in honour of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Spread across nearly 295–300 hectares near Mohiuddinpur on Delhi Road, the project is being seen as a landmark step toward transforming Meerut into a future-ready smart urban hub.

The Atal Shatabdi Integrated Township will be developed in Phase 1 and Phase 2 across approximately 300 hectares in Mohiuddinpur along Delhi Road. The mega township will be divided into 31 planned sectors, offering a mix of modern urban infrastructure and sustainable development.

The project aims to create an integrated ecosystem that combines:

  • Affordable residential housing

  • Industrial zones

  • Commercial spaces

  • Educational institutions

  • Healthcare infrastructure

  • Government and divisional offices

The Atal Shatabdi Integrated Township is expected to become a major growth driver for Meerut’s future. With rapid infrastructure upgrades such as the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and RRTS connectivity, the city is increasingly becoming a preferred destination for investment, housing, and business expansion.
