The district administration has started preparations to ensure the event maintains its heritage charm while welcoming thousands of visitors.
According to officials, the main shopping and marketplace activities at the Nauchandi Mela will be organized between April 25 and May 1, when traders, artisans, and food vendors from across the region will set up their stalls. Visitors can expect a lively marketplace featuring handicrafts, traditional items, street food, amusement rides, and cultural performances.
The District Magistrate (DM) of Meerut has instructed all departments and organizers to ensure that the dignity and traditional essence of the fair are preserved. Special attention will be given to maintaining cleanliness, security arrangements, proper stall management, and crowd control to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
