Work on the ambitious Ganga Expressway—Uttar Pradesh’s longest upcoming expressway—is progressing at a war footing, bringing the state a step closer to a seamless high-speed corridor between Meerut and Prayagraj.

Stretching 594 kilometers, the Ganga Expressway begins at Bijauli village in Meerut district and will eventually connect to Judapur Dandu in Prayagraj, significantly cutting travel time across the heart of Uttar Pradesh.

Developed in multiple phases, the expressway is designed to boost connectivity, ease freight movement, and open new economic opportunities for cities and towns along its alignment. Construction teams have accelerated work across all segments—earthwork, bridge structures, and pavement layers—thanks to improved mobilization of manpower and machinery.

Starting from Meerut, the project passes through key districts including Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, and Rae Bareli, before reaching Prayagraj. The corridor is expected to encourage real estate expansion, tourism growth, and smoother movement of agricultural produce.

With construction moving swiftly, the Ganga Expressway is emerging as one of Uttar Pradesh’s most transformative infrastructure projects. Once completed, it will not only strengthen intra-state connectivity but also contribute to faster economic development across the region.
